Artwork
We prefer electronic artwork wherever possible as this produces a much higher quality print result. Please supply a vector line art editable file in any of the following formats:
EPS - Encapsulated Postscript File
CDR - Corel Draw file format - this is our base preferred software application - Version 10.0
FH - Freehand files - Please ensure version no later than 9.0
AI - Adobe Illustrator file format (version no later than CS)
PDF - Portable Document file (editable)
(all of the above file formats need text converted to curves/paths)
JPEG, BMP, GIF - the resolution of these is often too low for us to use - these are mainly used on websites - web based art is too low in resolution for us to use
DOC - Word Documents are not suitable
(there may be art charges for conversion of these file formats)
Emailing Artwork Orders:
- If you are emailing your order and artwork, email it to info@acepromogifts.co.nz.
- If at all possible please try and send your artwork in one of our useable
formats.
Bromides/Hard Copy:
Bromides are excellent for one colour logos, and if you cannot get anything else, can be used for multi colour logos also. If a “bromide” is unavailable, a letterhead or similar is sufficient, as long as it is of good quality and has no halftone images. The larger the copy the better, but ensure it is no bigger than A4 size.
If after reading the above you are still unsure of our requirements or have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. Generally if you can send artwork following our guidelines, you will minimise artwork charges.
